It’s cold out… make some dame soup. This V8 Vegetable Beef Soup is perfect for for that evening where it is freezing outside and you don’t want to get out. Don’t get scared of the V8, it adds all those awesome spices without all the work. And you don’t have those big ass chunks of tomato that dominate most vegetable soups.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 3 large carrots
  • 1/2 onion
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 1/3 head cabbage
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 64 oz v8 juice
  • A couple dashes of Worcestershire sauce
  • Optional… Corn, potatoes, green beans, other veggies

Directions

  1. Brown hamburger
  2. Cut up all vegetables. You can keep them chunky as hell (that is what we prefer) or dice them down smaller if you prefer.
  3. Put everything in a large pot and cook on low-medium for 1 hour. Basically check the carrots to see if they are soft.

** Serve V8 Vegetable Beef Soup with crusty bread (as opposed to the crusty dude you got drunk with the other night)
