Simple Chipped Beef on Toast is one of those famous breakfast recipes from days past. You here is associated with the Military which can maybe give an idea that it is not good. But man, you would be damn wrong. The gravy is creamy and salty from the beef. and the toast adds a great plate for it. You can use biscuits or croissants if you want, but we like to keep this shit original and delicious.
1/4 cup of butter
1/4 cup of all purpose flower
3 cups of warm milk
(2) 8oz jars of dried beef
Bread for toast
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter
Whisk in flour all at once to form a roux.
Whisk in milk, a little at a time, increase heat to medium-high and cook stirring, until thickened.
Bring to a boil and stir in beef.
Serve over toast (or biscuits if you are fucking fancy Chipped Beef on Toast)
