So you are looking for a healthy breakfast? Maybe a snack that doesn’t come in a box with oil stains on the outside of it? Here is a pretty damn delicious recipe for a banana peanut butter smoothie. It is actually kind of like an ice cream… actually the more ice to add to it, the more it will resemble. You can also freeze it and do the damn full on ice cream thing. But we digress… start your day off right and get some protein in the diet. For the mega lazy, you can even pre-cut and freeze the bananas. Talk about your no brainer for on your way out the door.
- 2 bananas, broken into chunks
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cups ice cubes
- Optional – Dash of Vanilla Extract
- Place bananas, milk, peanut butter, honey, and ice cubes in a blender; blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.
- This is not rocket science. If you really thought there would be multiple steps to making a smoothing then you might be a little left of center.
